**About the business and the role**

Pitchers Hospitality Supplies is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our very busy team. Established more than 40 years, this family business services the Sunshine Coast and South East Queensland, based at our warehouse and custom built showroom in Kunda Park on the Sunshine Coast. We sell an exciting range of hospitality goods for Restaurants, Resorts, Hospitals and Healthcare on the Sunshine Coast and into Brisbane. This is a Full Time position.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**

All aspects of warehousing including but not limited to:

- Picking, packing and checking orders
- Receipting and putting away stock
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Forklift Work
- Cleaning and Organisation
- Adhering to time constraints and maintain product integrity

Maximum Hours where required:
Monday-Friday

Saturday morning
- one in every 3-4 weeks.

**The person**

You must be able to demonstrate the following experience, abilities and personal attributes:

- A positive attitude with ability to take directions
- Reliability
- Manual Drivers License
- Accuracy and safe handling of materials
- Professional approach and collaborative working manner
- Physically fit & strong with the ability to handle heavy & repetitive lifting.
- Forklift license an advantage
- Works well within a small team
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Sound literacy, reading and numeracy abilities to record data
- Knowledge of Safe Work Practices
- Experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential

**_Salary wage will be reviewed upon individual applicants experience and qualifications. _**
