We are currently looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join our high performing team in Melbourne. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Construction Manager is responsible for driving the Ethos culture on site, ensuring the site behaviours of our field supervisors (restoration and construction) and contractors align with our core values. With a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience, the Construction Manager is also responsible for driving budgetary and timeframe outcomes across all of our construction activities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Positive management of field supervision and desktop solutions teams to achieve future growth and financial outcomes.
- Lead team and process development to strengthen service delivery, drive innovation, and expand capabilities and market position.
- Drive superior customer service and account management practices throughout the business units to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and organic revenue growth.
- Ownership of financial and commercial outcomes in line with agreed budgets and growth targets.
- Ensure timely execution of overall project scheduling, and accountability for site activities.
- Oversee & manage relationships with insurers, loss adjusters and other external stakeholders, promoting and protecting Ethos’ interests and continued growth.
- Lead the development of staff for personal growth and plan for staff succession.
- In conjunction with senior management team, develop and implement strategies to improve productivity efficiencies, cost effectiveness and quality service levels.
- Management and overview of Subcontractors and Suppliers, ensuring delivery of quality works.
- Provide proactive support and guidance to the team to ensure adherence and compliance to forecasting, budget control, program time-line updates and company procedures/systems.
- Set clear expectations for the team in alignment with both client requirements and business objectives.
- Proactively monitor weekly and monthly reports / scorecards and provide monthly performance feedback and support for continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support to the team and proactively deal with escalated issues, and responding promptly to stakeholders
- Proactively monitor performance at both individual job and portfolio level, providing direction and guidance, and ensuring issues/behaviours don’t become systemic.
- Review variations prior to submission to client.

- Maintain accuracy of works schedules

- A trade background or extensive relevant experience.
