The role is a Category Assistant supporting the Category Manager in, you will support the team across a variety of product categories. The role is dynamic and will expose you to a wide range of categories and administration tasks across the entire width of the department.

Reporting to the Category Manager

**Your key duties and responsibilities**
- Support the Category Manager with the End-to-End management of processes for all Core and Promotional range builds, to help facilitate and meet agreed on timelines and launch dates.
- Liaise with respective suppliers on all Core requirements, product details, samples, pricing issues
- Manage and follow up with suppliers to ensure they are meeting production timeline targets in line with our expected shipping ETD's
- Engage with relevant business stakeholders to co-ordinate the flow of product and information
- Administration support such as compiling factory quotations and competitor price checks.
- Assist Category manager with range review implementation and preparation
- Assist in problem-solving and product delivery/process issues

**Skillset and Experience**
- Industry experience is retail and wholesale is essential
- Overseas supplier liaison experience (2-5 Years)
- Strong administration skills and excellent attention to detail
- Strong customer focus with a professional approach
- Good planning and time management skills
- Microsoft Office skills in Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint
- Confident using software programs
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and other key stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
