**Overview**

To take ownership of Link Group’s financial reporting and consolidation processes, including resolution of all technical and acquisition accounting related matters. This role is key to ensuring that Link Group’s financial reporting is globally consistent, well understood by all internal & external stakeholders and in compliance with relevant accounting standards, Corporations Act 2001 (or overseas equivalent) and ASX listing rules. This role will also support and play a key role in leading projects that relate to the finance function.

**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**
- Oversee and manage the half-year and full financial year ASX financial reporting processes. This would include the following:

- Leading the financial reporting timetable, ensuring that all parties understand and adhere to the relevant reporting deadlines;
- Ensuring disclosures in financial statements comply with relevant accounting standards, Corporations Act 2001 (or overseas equivalent) and ASX listing rules;
- Overseeing the completion of Link Group’s financial statement consolidation;
- Leading/advising on any technical accounting (e.g. new accounting standards, significant transactions), ensuring issues or changes are fully assessed and embedded into existing accounting processes; and
- Maintaining financial accounting policies.
- Annual goodwill impairment testing
- Provide technical accounting support to the Divisional CFOs to ensure that:

- acquisition accounting entries are performed for all acquisitions and disclosures are appropriate;
- divestments are appropriately accounted for and disclosed.
- Oversee the subsidiary dividend, cash repatriation and inter-company settlement process and work with Link Group tax to ensure necessary taxation requirements are satisfied;
- Oversee the preparation of cash flow and working capital reporting;
- Ensure accurate foreign exchange translation for all foreign operations and inter-group loans;
- Accounting for share-based payment arrangements at a group and subsidiary level;
- Payment times reporting in Australia;
- Ad-hoc regulatory reporting (e.g. ABS returns);
- Oversee the preparation of various holding / Group company subsidiary financial statements. Support Divisional CFOs in the preparation of subsidiary financial statements;
- Other reasonable duties as would be required, including:

- Drafting file notes on key accounting matters or reports to the Audit Committee and Risk Committee, which assist to explain financial accounting matters or disclosures;
- Liaison with financial statement auditors in Australia and globally;
- Accounting for fixed and leased assets;
- Staff management;
- Performance of ad-hoc financial reporting as may be required from time to time;
- Developing and driving new business processes (including related system improvements) to achieve an efficient and value adding financial service.
- The above list of key accountabilities is not an exhaustive list and may change from time to time based on business needs. In addition, as the role is part of a global team travel and flexibility to work outside standard hours may be required in this role.
