Box Hill Institute is a leading Australian provider of TAFE courses, vocational training and international degrees. Box Hill Institute operates in 10 countries and offers a diverse range of courses to students, businesses and community groups.
The Institute offers the opportunity to obtain formal accreditation at Certificate, Diploma, Degree and/or Postgraduate levels.
Located across three locations in Victoria - Box Hill, Lilydale and Melbourne CBD. The Institute teaches approximately 40,000 students per year with over 500 courses, 200 accredited courses and 10 workplace training facilities.
Box Hill Institute is nationally recognised and received recognition over the years including the International Training Provider of the Year in 2018, Australian Training Awards’ Large Training Provider of the Year 2016 and the Victorian Training Awards Large Training Provider of the Year 2016.

**About the role**:
The role of the Teacher - Pre-accredited Programs is to provide high quality, professional, client centric teaching and learning to Box Hill Institute students to ensure:
- **Educational Leadership**: Implement teaching strategies to engage ACFE priority cohorts in pre-accredited training programs that improve adult literacy and numeracy, employability and vocational skills to support pathways into further education, training and employment. Provide pastoral care to ensure a successful student and deliver overall student and industry satisfaction.
- **Business Growth**:Assist with the identification of new commercial opportunities with a view to increasing the uptake of pre-accredited training programs at the CAE and supporting the sector profile of the CAE as the pre-eminent Adult Education Institution.
- **Quality**: Plan, conduct, evaluate and assess quality, client-centric teaching programs that comply with statutory, regulatory and Box Hill Institute requirements. Participate in group moderation and validation of workshops as directed.

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 (or TAE40110 plus relevant units) or higher teaching qualification in adult education (Desirable)
Expertise Requirements
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability or the capacity to work and provide support and advice to students and Box Hill Institute employees of diverse cultures, backgrounds and abilities, including effective communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills relevant to a learning environment. Ability to quickly develop rapport and positive working relations with colleagues from a range of social and cultural backgrounds.
- Learning Management Systems: Demonstrated proficiency in using learning management systems (i.e. Moodle) to create innovative and engaging learning experiences for students.
