You will be implementing, monitoring, and enhancing risk management activities at the City. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing risk management strategies, promoting a risk-aware culture, and ensuring our business continuity plans are robust. Your role will directly impact our service delivery outcomes and contribute to a resilient, prepared, and forward-thinking community.
**What Type Of Person Will Be Successful**
We are looking for an experienced professional who shares our values and is passionate about risk management:
- Possession of, or progress towards a tertiary qualification in business, commerce or other related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of risk management, business continuity and internal audit functions.
- Knowledge of legislation, standards and better practice principles in relation to risk management, business continuity and internal audit.
- High level of interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships across the organisations and work collaboratively to achieve program outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing reports and organisational communications.
- Experience in developing and facilitating engagement activities which build capability in risk management.
