**About the role**

As the Quality Control Leader, you will join the team at our Selleys Padstow site where you will manage a small team of quality control officers and ensure that relevant internal and external regulatory and quality compliance frameworks are followed. In this role, you will also manage supplier non-conformances to ensure credits or replacements are received and that stock in QI/Block is minimised.

This role will be responsible for tracking the reporting the cost of quality while also managing the Padstow site quality system. As this is a leadership position, you will lead and participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders while clearly communicating the urgency and assist in prioritising work impacting quality outcomes. The Quality Control Leader will lead QA aspects of new product implementations and participate in quality forums and site leadership meetings.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensures the site produces products that are within specification
- Monitors the site quality system and reports Quality KPIs
- Liaises with internal and external stakeholders regarding deviations or non-conformances, including monitoring the Quality Costs
- Comply with relevant internal and external regulatory and quality compliance frameworks
- Supports troubleshooting activities to improve the site’s quality performance

**Skills & Experience**
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Quality role with management experience.
- Bachelor of Science preferred.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience in Analytical Chemistry (HPLC / GC) would be beneficial.
- Experience using SAP, Sharepoint, Waters Empower 3 software preferred.
