We are looking for an
- **Analyst Programmer**

**The Role & Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and document business requirements for projects, ensuring effective stakeholder management with internal and external contacts to ensure a strong and clear understanding of the project objectives, provide clear and regular feedback on project progress and successfully implement these initiatives.
- Manage a technical team, acting as an escalation point for junior analysts, working to enhance and improve the APEX in house systems and technology projects.
- Develop and deliver reports to ensure the company meets its external reporting requirements, this will include transforming requirements into programs and processes to deliver the requested information deliverables (e.g., reporting, data extracts).
- Undertake user acceptance testing associated with projects and transitions.
- Provide project management for company initiatives, managing resources, priorities and deliverables.
- Development succinct procedural documentation for end users
- Other ad hoc projects and responsibilities as required.

**Proven Experience & Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualified in IT / Business / Finance would be an advantage.
- Advanced.NET software development experience
- Experience with Application Integration, data transformation, or with any leading enterprise service bus (ESB) products or messaging platforms.
- 5+ years’ experience in financial services, specifically with exposure to custody and fund services (accounting, unit pricing) in a technical capability.
- 2+ Years in a leadership role, acting as a technical lead on projects, managing teams, resources and priorities.
- Ability to drive out loose requirements from the business and transform into technical specification for developers.
- Expert understanding of data modelling, database design and SQL/TSQL with a major database technology (Microsoft SQL Server preferred) and best practises associated.
- SSRS Reporting
- TFS Release Management, CI/CD Pipeline, Agile development methodologies

**Skills Required**:

- Exceptional documentation skills for writing and interpreting concise business requirements.
- Proactive with adaptability to work with changes to business requirements and priorities.
- Proven track record in liaising with a diverse range of business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
- Proficient balance of technical ability, interpersonal skills and business process understanding.
