**In this role**:
As an Insurance consultant, you will provide a high level of service to our members through handling inbound and outbound calls. You will convert insurance quotes into new business, reduce cancellations and cross sell other products and services.

**Please note, this is a 12-month fixed term contract.**

**Other key responsibilities**:

- Provide assistance to the Service & Sales team by servicing members/non-members via inbound and outbound channels
- Review member transactions while on call to look for opportunities to cross sell other products and services
- Maintain up to date knowledge of all products and services (particularly general insurance products)
- Be prepared to work in BankVic branches if required

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Good knowledge of the financial services regulatory framework, including AFSL and ACL obligations and Privacy legislations
- Strong sales skills and experience
- Knowledge and understanding of customer service techniques
- Ability to effectively handle difficult customers and scenarios.

This role requires someone who has strong customer focus, business acumen and interpersonal skills. You are a self-motivator and a quick learner who strives to achieve and drive for results.
