APG Workforce are currently seeking an experienced Administrative Support Officer for a role based a Sydney Government Sector
- 7 month assignment - possible extension
- Start date: ASAP
- $45.59 Per Hour + Super
- 7 hrs p/d / 35 hrs p/w
- Location: Sydney - Office based
**Primary purpose of the role**
The Administrative Support Officer provides customer support as well as administrative duties to support the Estate Management Office at Government House Sydney.
**Key accountabilities**
- Key tasks - Assist Reception Desk when required (answering calls / greeting visitors), assist with the coordination of the Guide team (rosters/time sheets and day plans etc), process purchase orders and credit card payments, general administration tasks, web research and report development (using various software programs).
- The role also has a strong customer service element, assisting with visitor access and provision of hospitality. The role also assists in the coordination of contractors / trades staff.
**Requirements for all roles**:
- Experience in administration including experience in the use of computer-based systems such as word processing, spreadsheet and records management systems.
- Applicants to have high quality customer service skills / professionalism (presentation and verbal skills) as well as good overall administration skills. Effective teamwork abilities also critical to the role.
