Pharmacy Student

**About the role**:
In this role, your number one focus will be delivering a high level of customer service while being informative about a range of health and beauty products and services. Other duties you will perform include:

- Assisting pharmacists with day-to-day operations
- Assist in accepting and handing out prescriptions
- Customer service, including assisting with over-the-counter (OTC) medications and advice
- Preparing and dispensing prescriptions under supervision
- Managing stock, inventory, and restocking shelves
- Engaging in health promotion and patient education activities
- Maintain awareness of customers at all times, providing service, and product knowledge as required; and answer the telephone politely and promptly.

**Experience, Skills & Attributes**:

- Enrolled in a pharmacy degree (Bachelor of Pharmacy, Master of Pharmacy)
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and medications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Familiarity with pharmacy software (e.g. Fred) is an advantage

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $24.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
