**The role**:
We are looking for a Parks Maintenance Officer to join our client on a Full-Time basis, located in South of River. Our client offers competitive benefits and perks, including:

**Duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Undertake horticultural and landscaping activities including, but not limited to, earth working, mulching, weeding, pruning, digging, raking, planting, spraying (with approved herbicides) and watering.
- Operate trucks, tractors, ride-on mowers, small plant, mowers, whipper snipers, 4WD spray unit, and a variety of 3-point linkage equipment when required to carry out maintenance of parks and reserves.
- Contribute to the preparation and review of job safety analyses, take five assessments, and hazard/incident reporting.
- Monitor and report any hazard or damage on parks or equipment to Parks Supervisor.

**To be considered for this role, you will have**:

- Experience in general maintenance
- Sound experience in large scale parks maintenance.
- Experience in using a powered spray unit and Power tools
- Horticulture or Turf qualification (desirable).
- Current C MR or HR class driver's licence.
- White Card
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management certificate.
- Chainsaw Competency certificate.
- Tractor driving experience.
- Possession of or ability to obtain a current National Police Clearance
