**Your role**:
As a Driver, you’ll keep the Army moving and play a pivotal role in the distribution of equipment, supplies and Army personnel via a wide range of different vehicles, on all-terrain.

No experience is required, just a driver's licence. You’ll be trained in driving, loading and maintaining these vehicles, allowing you to achieve a wide range of tasks to support the Army in Australia and overseas. Along with this, you’ll be trained to fully camouflage a vehicle, operate forklifts, cranes, winches, conduct vehicle inspections and operate a vehicle in a range of scenarios.

**Location**:
Following your initial military training, you could be posted to one of the many Army bases and units across Australia. It’s not possible to guarantee a specific posting location for the duration of your service, therefore you must be willing to relocate.

**Salary**:
In the Army you'll get paid a competitive salary from day one regardless of your age, experience or qualifications. Upon commencing training, your starting salary will be approximately $52,815 per annum plus 16.4% superannuation and your pay will increase as you progress through training.

On completion of your initial military training and initial employment training, you could earn $71,750 per annum plus generous super.

As part of your training for this Driver role, you’ll earn qualifications for the operation of certain vehicles.
