**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager Buildings and Depot to join our Assets, Capital and Facilities team The role is responsible for the effective management and maintenance all of Council's buildings and depot services across Cumberland City and is accountable for ensuring our delivery of service is consistent with the expectations of our community and key stakeholders. In this position, you will manage and control multi disciplined customer focused service units which provide trade services, building management, workshop, fleet and plant services, sign shop, facilities maintenance contracts and public amenities.

The successful applicant will require:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related technical field or management, combined with extensive relevant senior level experience
- Class C drivers licence
- Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in high level managing of delivery services in an operational based organisation
- Proven ability to deliver a range of services across a diverse spread of disciplines
- Supervisor ability, listening, coordinating, motivating, prioritising, assessing, problem solving, customer service and teamwork
- Ability to oversee the financial management of the team including budget preparation and maintenance
- Computer literacy, particularly in the MS Office suite of products
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

**Position information**: This is a permanent, full-time position, working a 70 hour fortnight from Monday to Friday.

This role is predominantly located at Council's Guildford Depot, with frequent travel required across Council worksites, and will be required to work across any of Council’s work locations.

**Salary information**: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
- Grade 17 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a salary range of $157,607.32 to $181,248.60 per annum, plus 10.5% superannuation.
- Leaseback vehicle
- Mobile phone.
