Singing and voice teacher wanted to join boutique music school based in Pascoe Vale

Hello, my name is Ailsa and I have run Fairywren music as the sole teacher for around 5 years. I am excited to be hiring a new teacher on board as part of my plan to expand while allowing me time to study a masters degree in speech pathology.

I feel strongly about creating a safe and compassionate environment where students feel cared for, as I find this allows them to take risks, get creative and build a meaningful relationship with music. I believe having an outlet like music makes a meaningful difference in a person's quality of life and so strive to help each student develop this wonderful skill in a way that caters to their unique personalities. If you share this passion for music and education then I would love to hear from you.

Hours: Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday 4-8pm during school term, potentially 3:30-8:30 if demand is there. Please feel free to send through your resume even if not availble for all days.

**Requirements**:

- WWC children check
- LGBTQIA+ safe and friendly
- Possessing or currently completing tertiary level or equivalent study on voice/ piano or combination of the two
- compassionate and fun approach to teaching and learning
- ability to engage students with a variety of ages and backgrounds
- ability to teach combination of voice and piano preferred
- punctual, organized and creative
- experience teaching preferred but not necessary as I am happy to offer training and guidance

**Salary**: $75.00 per hour
