Trade Assistant/labourer

Our client specialises in truck body manufacturing and servicing and have high profile customers including high profile food manufacturing companies and large businesses within the mining industry all with long term contracts.

They are looking for 2 experienced, motivated and energetic Trade Assistants with a high attention to detail to join their team working between there service and build units.

**Skills and experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an engineering workshop
- Power and hand tools experience required
- A strong and solid work history would be highly regarded
- Technical competence and mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of fundamentals of welding
- Ability to follow job specifications and drawings

**Required abilities**:

- High attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality work every time
- Works well in a team environment but can also work independently when required
- Can work in a dynamic and changing workplace
- Energetic has a positive work ethic and commitment to meeting schedule
- An awareness of workplace, health and safety regulations
- Reliable and punctual
- Can communicate with customers
- Solid work history with references

**Salary**: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Engineering workshop: 2 years (preferred)
- MIG welding: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
