**About the Team**

Our team of approximately 35 professionals is the largest multi-disciplinary deal advisory team based in Brisbane. We promote a collaborative environment where our team members are encouraged to participate in a diverse range of deal advisory engagements, spanning corporate finance, valuation, due diligence, financial modelling, mergers and acquisitions, as well as infrastructure advisory.

**About the Role**

We are currently looking for an Analyst to join our Brisbane Deal Adviosry team. The sorts of tasks you can expect to undertake include:

- Analysing company operations and financial statements
- Completing industry research
- Using research facilities including Capital IQ to identify comparable companies and calculate relevant valuation metrics (including normalisation adjustments, as appropriate)
- Constructing, reviewing and amending financial models
- Writing reports in Word and PowerPoint - refer to our publicly available Independent Expert’s Reports
- Assisting with transaction management, including populating and maintaining data rooms
- Communicating with clients and other transaction advisors to progress engagements

**About You**
- Experience in a professional services firm (in an area such as deal advisory/corporate finance, audit or business services) or a relevant commercial role
- Commercial acumen
- The ability to analyse and interpret financial statements (e.g. Annual Reports) to enable:

- conclusions to be formed on the financial performance and financial position of a company; and
- normalisation adjustments to be applied to compare financial performance across similar entities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills that enable results to be communicated concisely
- The ability to devise solutions to abstract problems that have no precedent
- The ability to identify knowledge gaps and work with senior staff to develop strategies to plug these gaps
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional client service and utilising your unique skills
