Bond University's Institute for Evidence-Based Healthcare (IEBH), is seeking a dedicated Post Doctoral Research Fellow to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team. Established in June 2010 by Professor Paul Glasziou, the IEBH delivers world-class research, engagement, and training that serves as a national and international resource for scholars, clinicians, system leaders, patients, and families in the implementation of evidence-based clinical care. collaborative research with a focus on translation of evidence into practice and policy.
This exciting, research-only academic role will contribute towards the university's research expertise in evidence implementation within the Institute for Evidence-Based Healthcare. The position is funded by, and activities will be under direction of the Chief Investigators of, an MRFF funded clinical trial activity grant entitled “Evidence-based Antimicrobial Stewardship: Sustainable Implementation in Primary Care: EASSI-PC”. The project is an implementation study that aims to increase the uptake of antimicrobial stewardship strategies in primary care and will be evaluated in a randomised controlled trial. This position does not any benchtop laboratory research.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Provide support for other IEBH research, including doctoral students, and will focus on the population and clinician level, using qualitative studies, surveys, systematic reviews and meta-analysis, and behavioural science strategies.
**About the person**:
- A doctoral qualification in the relevant discipline or a closely related field
- Ability to solve complex problems by using discretion and innovation and the ability to troubleshoot problems as they arise
- Demonstrated experience with qualitative studies, surveys, systematic reviews and meta-analysis
- Well-developed planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and set and meet deadlines
- A developing publication record in journals with high impact.
**Salary details**:
The salary for the position commences at $104,398.58 plus 11.5% superannuation per annum. Salary packaging options are available for eligible employees.
