The role in a nutshell
As an Educator, you will join the children in a variety of activities to encourage their curiosity and develop their well-being Ideally, you need to have skill, passion or interest to share with the children, as diverse activities and creativity is key to our ongoing success.
We are looking for passionate and energetic people to join our team at Laburnum OSHClub, Blackburn. Offering 10:00 Hours Per Week, you will work across After School Care shifts only.
After School Care - Monday to Friday; 03:00 PM - 05:00 PM
You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too
You will bring a sense of adventure, empathy and energy, as well as a meaningful teamwork approach each day.
Supervise children through participation in games & activities. Join our school holiday program with exciting excursions to the cinemas, zoo and more Teamwork and collaboration to create diverse activities.
This permanent part-time role is open to those experienced in working with children, and those starting a new career.

Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Enjoy working with kids. Strong and clear communication. Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children. Australian work rights.
Certificate III/IV, Diploma, Bachelor or Degree within Early Childhood Education, Teaching, Social & Youth Work, Allied Health, Sport and Recreation, Outdoor Leadership, Community Services, etc. or working towards is a must (Please refer to ACECQA website for more info)
