Dairy Farm Hands required on a family run farm located only 2 hours South of Perth, situated approx 30 min drive from Bunbury

**About the Role**:

- Operate milking plant and equipment
- Identify and report equipment not operating normally
- Work co-operatively as part of a team
- Read and record instrument information, i.e. Milk vat temperatures and cow numbers
- Understands the principles of safe working environment
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions within given guidelines
- Know general scientific terminology and assist with processes such as treatment of milking cows and artificial insemination,
- Operate computerised systems using menu options
- Assist with the raising of new born calves
- Assist with the management of weaned animals, and
- Attend to daily animal husbandry duties
- Feed cows using a TMR system
- Assist with the harvest and management of grown fodder

**About You**:

- A farming background
- Tractor operation experience
- Dairy background
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with good attention to detail, a strong work ethic and ability to follow process
- Ability to work without supervision
- The skill level required is a certificate 3 or higher in the relevant qualification with a minimum of 2 years of relevant full time work experience. An additional 2 years’ experience would be an advantage.

**What’s on offer**
- Salary of $70,000 to $84000.00 per annum
- 52/wk 11day f/n
- Donga style accommodation available for temporary use
