**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking expressions of interest for a highly motivated, meticulous, and results-driven Software Tester to join our fast-paced and innovative Agile Software Development team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the development and testing of secure, mission-critical systems that support Defence operations. These systems are integral to ensuring national security and advancing technological capabilities within the Defence sector.

As a Software Tester, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that high-quality, secure software is delivered to meet the demanding standards required in the government and Defence industries. You will be an essential part of our Agile development process, working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that every feature is thoroughly tested and meets the necessary security and functional requirements. The key responsibilities of the role will include, but is not limited to:

- Develop and execute comprehensive test procedures to ensure product quality.
- Actively participate in Agile software development sprint events and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of test strategies and processes.
- Identify, report, and validate defects, ensuring efficient resolution and system integrity.
- Ensure adherence to company quality processes, with a keen focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.

**Essential**:

- Relevant qualifications in Engineering and/or IT.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar Software Testing role.
- Proven experience in setting up test environments and executing tests across various stages of development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience producing clear and concise technical documentation.
Demonstrated experience working in an Agile environment and contributing to team success.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical, team-oriented approach.
- NV1 Security clearance (or ability to obtain).

**Desirable**:

- Experience in a software development environment using Microsoft development and testing tools.
- ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification.
- Familiarity with military software testing and documentation standards.
