Support Workers

Northcott is currently looking for committed, caring and professional individuals to join our Supported Living Team in **Guildford**; 5 permanent part-time roles are available, from **27 to 62 hours per fortnight**.

**Typical duties might include**:

- Supporting customers to develop and maintain independence;
- Supporting customers with personal care including bowel care, and other health and hygiene issues such as eating, dressing, toileting and showering;
- Undertaking various household tasks including cooking, cleaning, shopping and other community access activities.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Experience supporting customers with intellectual and physical disability;
- A current Australian Driver's Licence and confidence to drive a large wheelchair accessible van;
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of our customers;
- Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with our customers and to support their individual care plans;
- Flexibility to work shifts on a 24/7 rotating roster - including morning, afternoon and active night shifts, as well as weekend and public holiday shifts;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- NSW Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
