Hairdressing Trainer

**The Role**:
**Duties & Responsibilities will include**
- Provide quality training and assessing that is of the highest standard to ensure satisfaction and progression through to completion in a workplace environment.
- Facilitate in house educational bootcamps & workshops
- Identifying individual learning needs, mentoring and motivating students through their qualification
- Communicate with salon owners and management regarding specific educational needs and requirements for successful outcomes.
- To provide a level of education that ensures organisation and customer satisfaction
- Promoting our business culture to prospective new employers
- Liaise with internal, external stakeholders when requested
- To maintain all records in a correct and accessible manner so as to provide accurate information for compliance

**Essential Skills and Knowledge/ experience**
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Hairdressing and or Barber Qualification including a minimum 5 years of practical industry experience post qualification.
- Experience in both Hairdressing and Barbering techniques is highly desirable
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a committed team
- A results driven attitude, be reliable and share the passion for educating others.
- Time management & organisational skills essential
- Effective communication skills
- Previous RTO experience and knowledge of the VET sector desirable.

**Salary**: $44,723.54 - $73,145.02 per year
