This is a Mon-Fri daytime operation leaving evenings/weekends free.

**The Role**
This is a hands-on leadership role covering all operational aspects including:

- Head Barista responsibilities
- Front of house service management
- Ordering coffee, packaging, drinks and other supplies
- Collaboration with chef to achieve service consistency and menu refinement
- Overseeing promotional activities in the building and local area
- Promoting corporate catering and on-site corporate events

**Responsibilities**
As Head Barista you will be responsible for all aspects of specialty coffee delivery. You will ensure the coffee is tasting perfect all day and that the team is delivering a consistent delicious extraction and latte art presentation for dine in coffees.

As the Front of House Manager you will be responsible for all day to day operations of the café reporting to the area operations manager. You will lead the front of house team by example and be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations, excellence in customer service, driving sales growth and overseeing a happy working environment and positive culture.

You will have line management responsibility for the front of house team that includes baristas and floor staff. You will work alongside the Head Chef who has full responsibility for the kitchen and food production.

The role is fast paced and hands on from open to close. Specifics tasks include:

- Morning setup and end of day close
- POS management and taking customer orders during service
- Smooth customer service delivery through the day
- End of day cash management and daily sales reporting
- Ordering coffee, packaging, drinks and other consumables
- Input into local area promotional campaigns

- Strong attention to detail and a great memory for faces and names
- A flexible and resilient mindset
- Experience and skills in effectively hiring and training staff
- Excellent time management and planning skills

**Hours**
This is a full time Mon-Fri role 6:15am-3:30pm approx 38 hrs/week
Closed weekends and public holidays.

**MUST HAVE FULL WORKING RIGHTS**

Immediate start.

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
