We currently have an opportunity as an Asset Management Planning Systems (AMPS) Manager within our Maritime Sustainment team based in Garden Island, NSW.

**Your new role**:
The DDG will create and deliver the most efficient and effective warship sustainment capability for the Navy. Engineering management, maintenance management, asset and supply management services that support the material state of the DDG capability, that includes three Hobart Class Destroyers and associated support systems.
The AMPS Lead will provide direction to all Sustainment Stakeholders (technical and non-technical), guidance and support services to the Configuration Manager (CM) and Principle Maintenance Manager (PMM) including, but not limited to:

- Determining the needs, processes and reporting requirements to effectively manage DDG Maintenance Baseline within both CMT and AMPS utilising the DDG processes and CMT workflows;
- Coordinating (with MARSPT DMEL and CIOG DMETS) the initialisation of AMPS Enhancements and Managing existing Issues within the NLIS operating model;
- Coordinating and Managing AMPS User Access to DDG AMPS including managing the DDG AMPS User register;
- Providing support and governance to all DDG AMPS users, including Ships Staff, that ensures data quality for reporting. This will shall include the creation implementation and control of new Planned Maintenance developed and loaded through CMT ensuring that data flows through to AMPS appropriately;
- Directing a High level of assurance for services, deliverables, outputs and outcomes that are supplied or delivered by other third party organisations. This covers DDG reporting to external agencies and CoA reporting such as SPMS monthly reports covering both SPO and Platforms (TM 194 etc)
- Planning and coordinating the activities to support the DDG CM and PMM to maintain the objectives and goals, of the DDG AMSDO in relation to Maintenance Data completeness and usability;
- Conducting critical functional reviews and continual improvement recommendations using an Agile Project Management and Application Development process and methodology; and
- Assist DDG Sustainment production and transition planning, ongoing operational support, knowledge transfer and stakeholder engagement across the Enterprise and other Defence Maritime Support Agencies

**About you**:
**As an applicant for this opportunity, you'll have**:

- Proven AMPS 7 experience preferably in a defence maintenance environment
- Experience building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate individuals
- Excellent communications skills with the aptitude to negotiate and influence key stakeholders, as well as, adapt written and verbal communications to suit a variety of audiences.

**Clearances**:
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
