**The Role**

We have an exciting opportunity in the Superannuation Division to manage business operations which includes business strategy development/execution and risk management.

This role reports to the Division’s Executive Director and works closely with the Divisional Leadership Team to run the Division, and with APRA partners to improve practices across the organisation.
It is a fantastic opportunity to play a lead role in running a business, expand your networks and having the opportunity to improve how APRA operates.

**What your typical day will look like**
- Contributing to the development and implementation of the division’s strategic goals and business plan
- Monitoring performance of the division against its business plan
- Managing the divisions finances, including tracking of actual to budget
- Ensuring the divisions risk profile is up to date, and all compliance obligations are met, and controls are in place to mitigate operational risk
- Assisting in the identification of emerging risks/issues and aspects of the division’s activities that require management attention
- Coordinating leadership team meetings and driving divisional communication and training initiatives
- Building relationships with other divisional Business Managers to ensure collaboration alignment with APRA’s strategic objectives
- Assisting the ED and leadership team in planning and executing divisional initiatives.

- A team player, who excels at leading through influence, with strong stakeholder management skills
- An effective organiser, problem solver and communicator
- Strong financial sector or similar experience with a focus on risk management, strategic delivery and change management
- Strong innovation, embedding change, strategy development/execution and risk management
- A forward planner with the ability to dive into detail to derive key insights from business reporting but also scan the horizon for emerging opportunities
- Ability to lead and contribute to an innovative and agile operating division with a strong commitment to deliver APRA’s Corporate Plan
- Fosters an inclusive environment that creates a sense of belonging and trust, enables people to actively contribute, and to reach their full potential
- Professional qualifications in relevant field or equivalent experience.
