**Job Description**:
As a First Fix Carpentry Apprentice at Templeton Built, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the construction industry under the guidance of experienced professionals. You will work alongside our skilled carpenters and contribute to the construction of high-quality architectural homes and extensions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about carpentry and eager to build a successful career in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the carpentry team in performing various first fix carpentry tasks, including measuring, cutting, shaping, and fitting building materials.
- Assist in the installation of doors, windows, and other rough openings.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Learn to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of carpentry tasks while adhering to quality standards.
- Take initiative in learning new skills and techniques, seeking guidance and mentorship from experienced carpenters.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong interest in carpentry and a desire to pursue a career in the construction industry.
- Excellent work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques is a plus.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

**Salary**: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour
