**ABOUT THE POSITION**

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you’re the second in charge (after the Restaurant Manager) for overseeing the smooth-running of the restaurant you manage. It’s your job to ensure customers have great food and experiences every time and the crew are engaged at work.

Guided by your Restaurant Manager, you may work with our Kitchen and Logistics teams to oversee the efficient ordering and delivery of stock.

Where possible, it’s our expectation that you’ll work at least 24 hours in store each week. If these expectations change, you’ll be updated.

You are supervisor on a training path to become a manager, and as such, it is expected that you are ready, willing and able to work all day parts (opens, closes and weekends) to suit the business needs. If these expectations change, you’ll be updated.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Train and oversee the crew**:

- Along with the Restaurant Manager, you’re responsible for ensuring the crew are trained, engaged, and ready to deliver great service
- Role model and reinforce FISHBOWL’s people and culture standards
- Coach and develop Mixers in their career development
- Deliver training for Mixers
- Disseminate internal communications
- **Maintain culture**:

- Along with the Restaurant Manager, you’re responsible for ensuring all crew want to be a part of our team culture.
- Model proactivity, passion, and an excellent work ethic
- Maintain an active presence on internal social media like Workplace, including praising the teams’ accomplishments on Workplace
- Work with the People and Culture team to recruit new crew members and oversee trial shifts
- Liaise with the People and Culture team to ensure performance is managed and issues are resolved in a timely and compliant manner.
- **Manage stock**:

- Along with the Restaurant Manager, you’re responsible for ensuring your restaurant orders the right amount of food/dry stock to be delivered to the customer as fresh as possible, with no wastage.
- Liaise with your Restaurant Manager, Area Manager or Operations Manager, the Central Kitchen and Logistics teams to oversee the efficient ordering and delivery of stock
- Support your Restaurant Manager by undertaking the following activities for your restaurant: forecasting, ordering, receiving orders, managing re-orders, managing stock counts and rotations, portioning, managing the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
- **Prepare and execute service**:

- You’re responsible for ensuring restaurants are set up and ready to deliver excellent services. This means we consistently create great food, great experiences, and great working environments in high-performing restaurants.
- Maintain restaurant ambiance (e.g. lighting, music, air conditioning, and furniture set up should always be set up correctly)
- Prepare products and ensure product standards are consistent
- Maintain customer service standards
- Maintain food safety standards.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $22.91 - $32.73 per hour
