Are you passionate about corporate events and skilled in providing top-tier administrative support? Fortescue is seeking a dynamic Communications Officer to join our team. Working as part of the Global Conferences and Events team, the position is responsible for providing administrative support for the effective running of Fortescue’s internal and external events.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supporting various accounts payable functions, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders and supplier invoices, and team budgets.
- Coordinating team administration support including liaison with external event organisers, scheduling invitations to external speaking events and managing correspondence.
- Coordination of corporate events including guest liaison and other event management tasks.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Experience working in a fast-paced administration office and/or events role
- Experience in communications role is preferable but not essential
- Work effectively under pressure to meet challenging timelines with competing priorities and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong focus on attention to detail, quality and accuracy
- Ability to build influential relationships and drive collaboration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential
- Experience using SAP and Ariba is preferred
- Quick adopter of technology and digital solutions preferred
