**YOUR ROLE**:

- Leading the on time in full delivery of all formulation tasks for innovation, renovation, and operational projects, autonomously.
- Development and implementation of formulation solutions conforming to the highest international standards and quality, functionality, cost, market/marketing, safety, regulatory and legal requirements - including product stability testing.
- Continuous improvement of formulations and/or process with respect to quality control, complexity, costs, and handling. Keeps abreast of and actively searches for relevant new technology that may lead to a competitive advantage. Actively supports the Sustainability agenda in line with category plans.
- Maintains accurate, up to date and secure records for all formulations, raw materials, and activities - including ensuring raw materials and formulations are well maintained in Henkel systems. Maintains high standards of hygiene and housekeeping in lab, and safety - accountable for safety of self & others.
- Seeks to understand the needs of, and communicates well with peers inside R&D and outside R&D (e.g. marketing, supply chain, purchasing).
- Shaping and agreeing the technical objectives and milestones of the project with stakeholders, planning strategically what, how and through whom to deliver. Develop strong and collaborative relationships with Global teams and raw material suppliers to broaden knowledge and skills.
- Prepare reports relating to in-process manufacture or laboratory testing to the highest international standards of quality. Collects technical data (e.g. SDS, product information sheets) required for specifications, labelling and other compliance requirements.
- Develops and maintains an up to date knowledge of Third-party manufacturers and copacker facilities and processes. Ensure all business activities comply with relevant acts, legal demands, and ethical standards.
- Managing senior stakeholders autonomously. Provides technical advice and support as required, especially to the Third-party manufacturers.
- Can work with higher complexity and ambiguity, generating improvement ideas inside and outside area of responsibility, and identify and solving technical problems autonomously. Leads work streams such as full delivery of small projects or initiatives.

**YOUR SKILLS**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a comparable degree coupled with a minimum of 5 year’s work experience in a similar role within a consumer/FMCG business.
- Experience in Project Management
- Experience in using formulation and testing equipment
- Problem solving approach
- High level of autonomy
- Positive attitude and energy
- Strong communication and time-management skills
