Marine Technician

**About the role**

An exciting opportunity exists with SPC Marine, a specialised marine company on the Gold Coast, Queensland. Due to expansion of the business, an Air Conditioning / Plumbing Technician is required.

Duties include, but not limited to:

- Provide timely and accurate advice and reports to the Managing Director
- Maintain the Performance Measurement Baseline to ensure adherence to timeline requirements
- Liaise directly with Project and Production Managers at the factory to provide operational schedules and performance reports
- Design and installation of air conditioning and plumbing systems
- Create bill of materials list and order goods
- Coordinate parts and oversee the building of plumbing and air conditioning kits for fitment into boats
- Training / Teaching and creating of user manuals to ensure air conditioning and plumbing installation standards are upheld
- Quality Control / System Testing and Commissioning

**Requirements**:

- Highly relevant Cert III or Trade Cert as a minimum in Plumbing / Air-Conditioning / Refrigeration / Electrical
- At least 2 years of experience with in a similar role in a marine environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience in boat building, marine air conditioning / plumbing design and installation is a pre-requisite for the position.

**Remuneration Package**

On offer 85k - 95k salary plus superannuation

Salary based on experience and skill level

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
