Key Responsibilities

As part of the therapy and lifestyle activity team you will be responsible for assisting with planning the monthly activity program, organising and implementing a lifestyle/leisure program and activities to meet the social, spiritual, cultural and lifestyle needs of all residents.

Selection Criteria
- Completion of an approved therapy assistant course
- Police Check (National Police Clearance)
- Flu and Covid-19 vaccination records
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as a positive and productive team member.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Coordinating and participating lifestyle activities in a group or individual activity to ensure meaningful engagement of these activities with residents
- This role may have two components of Physiotherapy Assistants, assisting in the mobility/falls prevention/exercise, passive and active activities under the direction of the Physiotherapist, or Lifestyle Coordinator, as per the direction and planning from the Occupational Therapist or Lifestyle Coordinator.
- Provide feedback to Lifestyle Coordinator or Resident Engagement Coordinator on the lifestyle activities from feedback from residents and or their family member.
- Assisting in obtaining individual life history for residents to ensure a life journey is obtained.
- Document and maintain Lifestyle Activities feedback and the number of attendees.

**Salary**: $30.94 per hour
