**About this opportunity**

You will complete a Certificate III Scaffolding over 24 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with Host Employer, KJ Industrial Scaffolding.

Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:

- Plan, build and erect scaffold and working platforms on various construction sites
- Check and maintain scaffolding equipment and inspect scaffold structures for safety
- Picking, carrying and packing scaffolding components
- Assist in general maintenance duties that are within the limits of the skills, competence and ability of a trainee.

**The successful applicant**

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following capabilities and knowledge:

- Commitment to both on and off the job training
- Good attention to detail and time management
- Ability to work at heights
- Strong communication skills
- Physically fit and able to withstand the physical demands of the job
- Ability to undertake a medical including a drug and alcohol test

**Mandatory requirements**
- Current drivers licence (P1 or above) preferred but not essential
- Be eligible to obtain a High Risk Work Licence soon after commencement
- White Card (or willingness to obtain)
