**About the role at Optiver**

If so, consider a role with Optiver as a Macro Strategist. We are seeking someone who can collaborate with our traders to react to emergent market themes and developments. Whether it’s a catalyst such as a presidential election or an unexpected Federal Reserve interest rate hike, we need the best insight and analysis to perform. You will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on our trading and position taking on a daily basis, as well as finding the space for your skills and career to grow. Are you ready?

**Seniority**

Mid Level - A role for someone with some well-developed knowledge and skills they can bring to the role and team. Typically within 2-5 years of experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Mathematical Modeling - Develop and use mathematical models and statistical techniques to analyze financial data and make investment decisions
- Quantitative Analysis Communication - Communicate findings and recommendations to portfolio managers and other stakeholders
- Market Analysis - Analyze economic indicators and market trends to assess their impact on investment decisions
