Postdoctoral Research Fellow

We have an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the scientists and engineers of the newly established 6G Research and Innovation Lab who are looking beyond the 5G network even as the rollout continues.
With the implementation of 6G technologies in telecommunications in the next few years, the particular emphasis in this project is in studying frequencies above 26 GHz in terms of radiations and biological impacts.
**About You**
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking project work in ionizing and non-ionizing radiation safety, electromagnetic bioeffect & dosimetry
- Substantial knowledge about the process of electromagnetic wave and heat propagation, and familiarity with RF computational modelling software such as MATLAB, Finite Difference Time Domain Method (in particular XFdtd).
- In depth knowledge of non-iozing radiation protection regulations and exposure reference levels
- Experience in using a range of spectroscopy tools such as the Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) technique for biological samples
