**Provide career education sessions and individual consultations for CDU students and Alumni and contribute to employability programs at CDU.**

**About the Position**
As a Careers Consultant you will be responsible for the provision of one-to-one career advising sessions and group workshops, both face to face and online, for all CDU students and alumni and for specific target groups. Contributing to the development and delivery of a variety of curricular and extracurricular employability programs including, but not limited to, CDU Employability programs, the CDU Leadership program, The CDU Career Mentoring programs and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) preparation programs.

**About You**
To be successful, you will require:

- A degree with subsequent relevant experience in an operational role in a high regulated industry and/or complex organisation or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training
- Compliance with the professional member requirements of the Professional Standards for Career Development Practitioners and willingness to undertake training as required fulfilling and professional accreditation requirements.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills when engaging with graduate employers and other external stakeholders, including industry associations and the ability to synthesise and present accurate labour market information to current students and recent graduates.
- Extensive knowledge of recent developments in careers and employability practice and the ability to adapt University current practice to pursue best practice models of program delivery.

**Remuneration**
Appointment to this role will be at (Classification). The base salary will be in the range of $91,642 - $100,594 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $107,221- $117,694 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
