Powder Coater

Must be an Australian citizen/Permanent Resident.

An exciting and progressive opportunity has recently become available for a Powder Coater in Carasel’s Seven Hills warehouse/head office. Our clients are individuals and business around Australia looking for genuine Aussie made towbars and trailers. We have recently within the last 12 months expanded our manufacturing team with brand new machines to up our methods and streamline the business to increase production.

We are in urgent need of an experienced Powder Coater in a fulltime capacity Monday to Friday working 38 hours a week.

Qualifications:

- Certificate 111 in Surface and Preparation would be an advantage. Minimum 2 years’ experience in this role.

What your new role will look like? (Main Duties & Responsibilities)
- Ability to work as both part of a team and work independently throughout the day. Understand, fabricate, and evaluate technical drawings while achieving a high quality result. Perform all job-related tasks in a timely manner. To set up and operate the Powder Coating Spray Equipment. Ensure the equipment is clean and maintained to the required standard. Prepare equipment to be powder coated ensuring cleanliness to the products at all times. Be responsible for informing the line manager when you are getting low and in need of stock.

What will you bring to the role? (Skills & Experience)
- A sound knowledge of powder coating process and procedures
- Proactive approach to continued learning (machine upgrades etc)
- Ability to work Monday to Friday. Experience in manufacturing & warehousing. The willingness to jump in and assist teammates from time to time. Be a great listener and communicator. Be committed and hardworking to the role and Caramel’s policies. Take pride in all work. Complete work in all timeframes, informing the line manager of any unplanned delays in production. Pay: $27.17 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
