**About the team**:
Coles Liquor is a trusted retailer with three iconic trading banners, Liquorland, First Choice Liquor Market and Vintage Cellars. **About the role**:
As the Macro Space & Development Manager, you will be responsible for the optimisation of macro space across our fleet of stores to deliver business priorities, customer ease of shop, availability and efficient store and supply chain operations through resets, projects, new stores, and renewals.

Reporting into Range & Layouts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and nurturing team relationships to maximise Coles Liquor’s credibility and standing as Space Management Leaders.Please note this is a **12 month fixed-term contract.**

You’ll also:

- Build efficient and effective Floor plans which deliver space optimisation aligned to business principles
- Drive continual improvement of the Range & Space team through identifying and implementing system improvements and performance metrics
- Manage and govern the Liquor Activity schedule and provide weekly status updates and associated risk
- Drive Range & Space product agenda and ensure solutions are market leading and support our ambition to become a world leader in range and space capabilities
- Identify areas of opportunity to trial new concepts through analysis and stakeholder engagement
- Identify areas of opportunity to trial new concepts, and take a lead role in Range & Space related projects across the business
- Work collaboratively across multiple divisions, communicating Range & Space metrics cross-functionally
- Coach and develop your direct reports and peers, conducting half yearly and yearly performance reviews

**About you and your skills**:
We are looking for a collaborative leader with extensive range and space planning experience in a retail setting.

You’ll also need
- The ability to analyse current processes and desired outcomes and translate this to functional and non-functional requirements
- Expertise in the range and space ecosystem and its category delivery function and be able to identify needs, threats and drive innovation to extend our Range & Space value proposition
- Ability to establish roadmaps that incorporate strategic objectives and customer/end user feedback
- Advanced skills in the use of space planning and floor planning tools including Blue Yonder Floor Planning, Space Planning, CKB etc.
- A relevant Tertiary qualification is preferrable
- The ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively across all levels of business
- The ability to manage and deliver allocated business critical projects
