Do you have what it takes to be a Security Consultant with one of the largest Security Consulting and Systems Integration organisations in the market? Our IBM Security team are looking for a motivated Security Specialist or recent graduate to join the team as a Security Consultant.

Please note that Australian Citizenship is a requirement for this role, as this is essential for our client base along with the ability to obtain NV1 clearance.

**What work will I be doing?**
- Project delivery of IBM Security products to clients across government, financial services, retail and other industries
- You’ll be an important part of an advisory team for all security measures necessary to protect client’s intellectual property and assets
- Opportunities to shadow Senior Security consultants
- Identity and access management
- Application and network security

- Works well with diverse and dynamic teams, comfortable working autonomously
- Thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage time effectively
- Outcome focused, possessing a high level of resilience, you demonstrate the flexibility and resolve needed to achieve success a across a broad range of consultative contexts
- Familiarity with network design, network security, authentication, authorization techniques, and encryption protocols and standards.
- Experience in one or more of the following security domains: Security Intelligence & Operations Consulting (SIOC); Data Security; Identity & Access Management, Infrastructure and Endpoint Security (IES), and/or Security Strategy Risk and Compliance (SSRC).
- Dedicated to client success
- Proactive in challenging the validity of given procedures and processes with the intent to enhance and improve
- Confident with strong interpersonal skills

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Strong interest in Cyber Security
- Computer Science, IT or related degree background is preferable.
- Understanding of Cyber Security discipline
- Knowledge of Threat Management procedures and best practices
- Understanding of Information Security Governance Risk and Compliance
- Understanding of the governance aspects of Information System projects and programs
- Knowledge in Network Design and Security, Web or Custom Application Development, Mobile Development, Software Engineering, Identity and Authentication Technology.
