**Your new company**

Due to company growth, my client is looking for a steel drafter/detailer who is proficient in Vertex to join their team. They are one of the leading suppliers in light gauge steel framing in South Australia. They handle every aspect of steel frame construction, from manufacturing the frame to direct delivery to the site.

**Your new role**

This role is critical in producing premium quality steel house framing. The main task is to transform building plans into a 3D framing model ready for manufacturing using Vertex CAD software.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Minimum of 2 plus years of experience in detailing light gauge steel structures
- Proficient in Vertex CAD Software
- The ability to analyse and interpret 2D drawings accurately is essential to excel in this position
- A solid understanding of construction terminology and building practices is crucial for effective communication and collaboration on projects
- Teamwork and good communication skills are important. Demonstrating the ability to work cooperatively within a team and communicate ideas clearly is vital to facilitate efficient project management and meet set deadlines
- Strong attention to detail is required to ensure the accurate and precise detailing of steel structures, minimising errors and ensuring structural integrity
