- About the Role- This is an exciting opportunity to join our Surface Logistics Team in this brand new role as Coordinator Copper Concentrate.- You will play a pivotal role in the coordination of on-land logistics activities to deliver Copper Concentrate from the South Australia Copper Operations to our customers and between Copper SA operations, on time and as per our customers specification.- You will have the ability to develop strong relationships with various stakeholders across the business, including execution and technical teams, global functions, as well as external vendors.**_This position is based in Adelaide on a Monday-Friday basis, with flexibility. Regular travel will be required to site._**
- In this role you will:
- Work within a high performing team demonstrating a culture of care.
- Work with operations at Prominent Hill, Carrapateena and Olympic Dam to optimise and coordinate container concentrate weight, moistures, quality movements and inventory locations
- Review marketing schedules and transport requirements to optimise product order to our customers
- Work with stakeholders to develop 1SAP processes. Transitioning into daily data verification of containers in 1SAP and performing uploads of MII data into 1SAP
- Coordinate Purchase Orders and perform month end accrual processes for train movements and cargo loading actives based on production forecasts
- Coordinate moisture management plans, SDS, radiation and Environmental monitoring programs
- Develop strong stakeholder relationships with transport teams, operational teams and marketing
- Maximise value of concentrate by allocating to deliver best financial outcomes and/or de-constraining the site operations
- About You- Understands copper concentrate quality optimisation within given constraints
- Experienced in 1SAP (Purchasing, Material Movement and Exporting)
- Effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
- Diligent with a strong eye for detail.
- Organisational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, including the ability to interpret reports and balance production figures.
- Experienced in contract management
