Optical Assistant/dispenser

Eyes on Buderim is seeking a motivated Optical Dispenser who enjoys providing customer
service excellence and inspiring others to be the best they can be.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Join a team of customer-focused, efficient professionals where understanding customer needs is paramount.

Responsibilities include:

- The ability and experience in frame adjustments and repairs
- Optical script and lens knowledge to assist the optometrist with patient handover
- Reception duties including appointments and processing Medicare and Health Insurance claims
- Drive sales through exceptional retail skills
- provide expertise in frame selection for our customers to ensure their wants and needs are met, inline with their lifestyle

- 2-3 days a week, Wednesday and Thursday are essential

**ABOUT YOU**:
Bring your face-to-face retail experience, excellent communication, customer service, and team focus to our business.

Desired skills and attributes:

- Have great customer service/ retail experience
- Have great computer skills
- Respectful and empathetic
- Be willing to keep up-to-date with product fashions (frames, sunglasses, contact lens and accessories)
- Community-oriented

Optical experience is preferred.
