**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Flight Operations HSEQ Manager to join our dynamic and growing team

Reporting to the Director of HSEQ and People - APAC, you will play a pivotal role in the improvement and success of the Company’s flight operations.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Fulfil requirements of the key personnel responsible for the safety management system, as per CASA regulations
- Ensure all processes and outputs from the Australian SMS are carried out.
- Assist with the continued development of HSEQ systems, processes, and documentation.
- Maintain working relationships with PHI personnel with the intention to,
- prevent harm to people, property, and the environment,
- promote the SMS, and continuous improvement,
- encourage reporting of occurrences, and hazards,
- facilitate the generation, implementation, and close-out of corrective / preventative actions as applicable.
- Coordinate and supervise base safety officer training and activities.
- Remain up to date with regulatory and client requirements as well as industry developments and best practices applicable to functions conducted by PHI.

**To be considered for this role, you will need**:

- Relevant educational background in aviation, safety management, or a related field.
- Ability to obtain CASA Australia acceptance as key personnel.
- Understanding of international and local aviation regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.
- Previous auditing background and occurrence investigation skills
- Experience working in HSEQ management positions, preferably in the aviation industry

- Hold valid Australian working rights.
