**About the Office for Research**

The Office for Research (OfR) is moving to a model that provides holistic ethics, integrity and biosafety advice, support and service to researchers and our research partners. To deliver on the strategic plan, the OfR has created a Research Integrity function within the office. This arm of the OfR will provide a program of training and development for Researchers, Ethics Committee Members, and Divisional Teams and Departments to ensure research is embedded in the fabric of the hospital.

**About the role**

A regular day will see you:

- Manage ethics and site-specific authorization of new projects, amendments & post-approval items
- Manage review and sign-off of Research Agreements
- Provide advice pertaining to research ethics, research governance and research agreement matters
- Prepare and present research training and one on one consultation with researchers
- To manage Ethics Committees, as required, including preparing of documents, agendas, providing advice based on relevant guidelines and legislation and taking minutes at the meeting
- Assist in reporting KPIs and preparing institutional reports.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you'll bring with you:

- Experience in the review and interpretation of research projects and research agreements
- Experience in preparing and managing research projects, including design, tracking and post-approval requirements (such as safety, annual and final reports)
- Demonstrated skills and experience, including timely, efficient and effective minute-taking and record
- keeping.
- Track record in customer service including excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven time management skills.
