**About the role:
The Operations Team Leader is responsible for leading Banyule Leisure’s Duty Management and Pool Lifeguard teams, as well as the maintenance, presentation, and operation of facilities across Banyule Leisure, including all mechanical, aquatic and plant equipment for Banyule Leisure.

As well as leading all aspects of aquatic operations, ensure that all times Banyule Leisure is operating in accordance with the:

- RLSS Guidelines for Safe Swimming Pool Operation (GSPO),
- Public pool water quality standards, and
- Regulating bodies that govern the industry.

**Skills, experience and certificates**:

- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar or related roles
- Prior experience working with a relevant industry body or within the aquatics and recreation industry will be highly considered
- Aquatic Technical Operators Certification
- Level 2 First Aid Certificate
- CPR / First Aid Certificate
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate

**Mandatory Pre-Employment screening**:

- Drivers Licence
- Functional Capacity Assessment
- Police check
- Working with Children Check
