**Remuneration**: $60.85 to $68.92368 per hour
About the role
The Network and Infrastructure Manager is responsible for providing services within the IT Department and across the organisation to ensure a reliable and high functioning network and infrastructure, along with maintenance of key relationships and associated systems for CMN operations on a daily basis as well as for interoperability with HNELHD, eHealth and Calvary networks and systems as appropriate. This role includes Cybersecurity and protection of organisational assets responsibilities. You will be required to use expert knowledge in this specialist field for IT Infrastructure and systems, including for Hardware, Server OS, Cybersecurity, Disaster Recovery, Desktop OS, Client Devices, LAN and WAN technologies aspects, Telephony and Communications to assist in strategic discussions and implementation of approved solutions, to troubleshoot and to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the Manager Health information Services and ICT with review and development of IT continual service improvement strategies, to deliver stewardship of budget, assist in developing and implementing ICT policies.
Actively consider and be involved in Cybersecurity related activities, development and review of action plans, as well as assume the senior role for the organisation for ICT infrastructure and systems
Work collaboratively with Calvary, HNELHD and eHealth on a daily basis to ensure network interoperability.
Perform day-to-day tasks which ensure the effective running and administration of network and related systems within the organisation, in conjunction with external partners and team members as appropriate
Provide expertise to the Systems and Network Analyst and Desktop Services team and work collaboratively within the ICT team to deliver quality overall services for the department, all team members and key others inside and outside of the organisation.
What you bring
Relevant tertiary qualifications, appropriate level of industry qualification and appropriate experience in health care sector systems or demonstrated transferability of skills and knowledge
High level knowledge of IT infrastructure including backup, hardware, databases, client devices, operating systems, directory services and redundancy
The successful applicant must be able to exercise good judgement to select the most appropriate method and sequence of work, to determine intelligent purchasing practices.
You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be a team player.
Professional conduct is required at all times and the position will at times need to oversee and offer solution to any problem involving the service within the department or outside.
This position is required to motivate others, and must be able to participate in the on-call roster and escalation of issues when required.
