Teacher Aide

**Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 3 - $32.21 per hour **(School Salary Scale)/(Services Salary Scale)

**Employment conditions**: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement

**About the role**:

- We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated school officer to join our school. The successful applicant will work closely with the classroom teacher supporting the education of students and assisting them to maximise their learning.
**Duties include**:

- General classroom support
- Preparation of resources and clearing learning materials
- Using technology to support learning activities
- Administrative duties such as photocopying and filing

**Skills and experience**:

- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- An understanding of the workings of a classroom
- A willingness to work as part of a team

**Qualifications**:

- Ideally you will have previous experience as a Teacher Aide and/or hold a minimum Cert 3 in Educational Support or be studying towards it.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
