At Ragu & Co we prepare, seasons and cook food in the restaurant, we also offer wine service for our customers.
We are looking for a full time (at least 38 hours per week) skilled Sommelier to perform the following duties:
**Responsibilities**:
- Manages the acquisition, storage, and systematic rotation of wine inventory.
- Monitors and updates the wine list, reflecting changes in inventory and introducing new selections to guests.
- Educates service staff on the wine selections available, enhancing their knowledge and ability to recommend wines to guests.
- Handles the uncorking of bottles and serves beverages.
- Evaluates customer preferences and budgetary constraints to recommend wines that align with their taste and budget.
- Ensures the removal of empty bottles and used glassware from tables, maintaining a clean and organized dining environment.
**Requirements**:
- A can-do attitude and ability of working independently.
- Good Customer Service skills
Position: Full Time
**Salary**: $60,000 - 80,000 per year
