**Job Title**: General Maintenance and Groundskeeper Position - NDIS Sector

**Location**:Goulburn and Crookwell Areas

**Position Type**: Casual 25+ Hours Per Week - $40.26 Per Hour (SCHADs Award Rate - Level 2 - Pay Point One)

**Shift Hours**:Day Time

**Start Date**: As Soon As Possible

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- General lawn maintenance duties (lawn mowing using either a ride on and/or push mower, edging/whippersnippering, basic lawn care such as fertilising, weed control, watering, removing clippings, raking, sweeping paths etc.).
- Disposal of household and yard waste (using a ute/box trailer to conduct tip runs).
- Basic garden care (weeding, tidying, fertilising, watering, trimming etc.).
- Basic handyman duties where required, and within reason.
- Conduct Risk Assessments at locations to be serviced.
- Foster a positive, can-do attitude, take initiative, and treat clients respectfully.

**Requirements**:

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- General maintenance/groundskeeper/handyman experience.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must have experience in and be able to confidently use a box trailer.
- Must be confident in Risk Assessment.
- Must be willing to travel throughout the Goulburn & Crookwell regions.
- Must have a current unrestricted Driver License.
- Must be willing to undergo a medical examination (at the Employer's expense) to assess physical suitability for this position as some heavy lifting is required.

**Preferred**
- Own vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willingness to obtain)
- Relevant training and credentials such as: chainsaw certification, white card etc.
