Supporting some of our most iconic shows here at Nine, we’re seeking an experienced and talented casual Hair and Makeup Artist, with a specific strength in styling to join our busy high performing team. This role will be based in Queensland.

**Day to day includes but won’t be limited to**:

- Maintain stock levels in the department
- Cleaning & maintaining a high level of hygiene in the department at all times
- Understand requirements from a visual and technical standpoint.
- Follow simple to complex makeup briefs as required.
- Style, cut and colour hair for on air talent, reporters, guests and executives
- Hair consultations with talent
- Prep wardrobe for Talent
- Use wardrobe data system and machine to track stock and talent wardrobe
- Keep on top of current trends
- Autocue

**Qualifications** What we would like to see on your resume**:
**Essential**:

- Proven experience as a hair and makeup artist
- Be a team player and adapt well to new situations
- Artistic and creative flair.
- The ability to work well with others.
- Thorough and pay attention to detail. Seamless verbal communication skills.

**Desirable**:

- Formal qualifications in hairdressing
- Proven years of experience with a specific strength in styling
- Previous experience in the entertainment industry would be an asset
